IRG attends the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Global Symposium in Amsterdam

IRG's Broker/Owner Jeremy Hurst attended the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® and Luxury Portfolio International® Global Symposium, which took place 23-25 October in Amsterdam. The event was the group’s 9th Global Symposium and brought together leaders from top residential firms from more than 30 countries.

This year’s event was particularly meaningful because it marked Leading RE’s expansion into its 60th country, giving IRG connections to even more quality real estate firms worldwide.

Speakers at this year’s symposium presented new research and data on the ways the real estate market is changing on a global scale.

Jeremy Hurst is a member of the Leading Real Estate Companies of The World’s Global Advisory Board which advises the network on its global growth strategy. In being part of this Advisory Board Jeremy is able to promote the benefits and advantages that the Cayman Islands offer as a place to visit, live, work and invest and highlight how we compare positively to our regional and global competition.

Jeremy was also invited to moderate a panel at the Global Symposium conference on Commercial Property opportunities. The panel included:

This generated very interesting discussions amongst the panel and questions from the audience on how the commercial sector of the business interfaces with the residential sector and how one side can generate buyers for the other. This was especially interesting from Cayman’s perspective where the luxury residential market is so closely tied to the offshore finance sector.
